Alissa is a senior at Cheyenne-Eagle Butte High School and is the daughter of Rick and Tina Neigel.

My favorite things about C-EB are:  The elective classes and the advanced classes.  I have enjoyed all of my elective classes starting with Welding taught by Mr. Gray, as well as Tech and Drafting with Mr. McCrea.  I was also part of an online electronics course from Black Hills State University offered by Mr. McCrea.  Another elective class I enjoy is Mrs. Rose's art classes.  With the help of her classes I have the opportunity to paint many pictures and make many creations with clay.  I would like to thank the school for having these great elective classes that help each student to do their won thing and become an individual.  In addition, I enjoy the schools advanced classes because they push me to try my hardest in school.  At every opportunity I chose to take the most advanced courses in order to help me be successful in college.

Activities I am involved with this year are:  helping with the Eagle Butte Volunteer Fire Department, working, and trap shooting.  I always find the time to help the
EBVFD with all their fundraiser activities.  I am currently working part-time at Vilas Pharmacy as a clerk, and I can't wait for summer to participate in the Mid-Dakota Trap League as I have done for many summers.  In the fall I am going to attend Northern State University to start my career into the field of medicine.

Alissa is a positive role-model and a a very hard worker.  Alissa has been a student of mine for 4 year.  And education is important to her.  She has diverse interests and is bold enough to share them with her peers.  Alissa is very committed to doing well in school and is serious about reaching  her goals in life. She is well liked by her peers and is a joy to have in class.  She is always willing to participate in discussion and does her work in a timely manner.  She always gives everything.  She does 100 percent and more.
