Hello, my name is Deb Halfred, I am an Education Aide for the Exceptional Education Office at the Cheyenne River Agency, Office of Indian Education Programs. I have been with the Exceptional Education for over 3 years now and found it to be quite rewarding and I have a pleasant time with the students, co-workers, my boss, public and the C-EB School staff. I transport students from the Black Hills Children's Home, South Dakota School for the Deaf, and the Black Hills Special Services Cooperative.
When I'm not transporting students or parents, you can find me in the O.I.E.P. Office located in the Girls Dormitory on the west side of main street. I answer phones, do timesheets for Exceptional Education's Staff and some procurement for our office. I enjoy traveling, visiting, shopping, learning new things, such as; computer work, the Internet, workshops, personnel paperwork, and spending time with my family and friends. I love spending time and goofying off with my nephew & neices; Royalle & Aaron Azure, who are going to be 10 & 8 yrs old in the month of July, Jessica, Ethan & Chrissy Buffalo, who are the ages 6 & 4, and Chrissy will turn 1 years old in December, and also my neice, Cameron Jo Halfred, who just turned 1 yrs. old in the month of June. And of course my lil' Angel, Anjenette Vestele, who will be 2 years old on July 3rd. :) Anjenette is the first granddaughter of Paul Sr. & Ione Betone. Her father & my good friend, is Conway Betone who had attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology during the spring of 1999 and is currently working as Law Enforcement Officer for the CRST Walter Miner Law Enforcement. Well, I better end this here... I don't think the world or the
Internet could handle a best seller. Ha!
