Hi! My name is Connie Knight.  I am married to Mark Knight.  We have two children, Kelsey Da'Rae Knight and Tee William Knight.   We live 12 miles north of Eagle Butte, South Dakota on Sans Arc Valley.

      My employer is the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Title Program.  I have worked for this program for 11 years.  Prior to this I worked 5 years for the CRST Head Start Program.  I work at the C-EB Big Boys Dorm.  I am the IRG Secretary/Teaching Assistant.  My job duties as the secretary include typing, filing, working on the computer, keeping track of all the student contact hours and answering the phone.  My job duties as the teaching assistant are working with grades 7-12 on arts and crafts projects and paraprofessional counseling.  I really enjoy working with the dorm students, IRG Staff and the Dorm Staff.

    My favorite sport is rodeo.  My rodeo hero's are my husband Mark (Team Roper), my daughter Kelsey (Barrel Racer & Roper), my son Tee (Mutton Buster & Roper), my brother Duffy (Bronc Rider & Bull Dogger), my 1st cousins Marty and Todd Ward (Bulldoggers), Jason Lawrence (Bronc Rider), Tuffy Thompson (Bronc Rider) and John Hunt (Bronc Rider).

    My hobbies are riding, breaking colts, roping, bowling, hunting, going to rodeo's, watching football, reading the bible and helping out on my father's (Lyle Ducheneaux) ranch and my mother-in-law's (Edie Knight) ranch.

    My favorite football teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. My favorite rock singers are Joan Jett and Tom Petty.  My favorite country singers are Tanya Tucker, Steven Earle and George Strait.
